When you’re having fun =P
I’ve been going back and forth into Game Development and Marketing areas, but working in the Game Industry nonetheless. I’ve mentioned before, on previous posts, but for a more updated chronicle of my work and life, follow my Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. =) I also have a monthly gaming news podcast called Level reCap I cohost, a sister podcast under Geek Pop Podcast; and stream weekly with my best friend on SnBplay on Twitch. Both have been going on for years now, but figured I should share my other ventures with you guys. =P
Recently I’ve been really into Game Capture and have decided to focus on it as a career, so I added a new tab with my Game Capture portfolio, both in-game photography and trailers/teasers. So more to come there.
I wasn’t sure where to post these, but during my time at Tic Toc Games, I had the opportunity to work on The Adventures Of Pip Kickstarter Backer incentives. I was basically the lead graphic designer on this mini project, and designed the Soundtrack, Art Book, Pins, Stickers, Posters, and T-Shirt. I used pre-made art by a variety of artist on the project like Mark Gomez, Eleazar Del Rosario, Eddie Moreno, Myself, and more, to layout the covers, pages, and such.
Here are some of the pictures of the final products:

One Year Later!
A lot has happened in the past year, but between freelancing, working at WayForward, getting my live game stream up, and personal art projects, time just flew on by. I've updated my other tabs, under Published Works and Portfolio.
I try to be as frequent as possible on my other social media pages, so definitely drop on by there:

November November...
Lots of freakin things happening in November... gahh... but anyway, keep an eye out for somethings in particular!
I'm co-curating with, but more of an assistant to, Zero Blank, who has been steering this epic show to greatness. A lot of amazing artist and myself will be displaying artwork themed after Tentacles, octopus and squid alike. Check out the Facebook Event page or even the PixelDrip Gallery page for it and hope to see you there! Are you an artist interested in participating too? Email Zero at deathpopart@gmail.com or Sasha Palacio, me, at sashampalacio@gmail.com and make sure to put “Tentacle Art Show” as the subject =)
On a side, more geeky/nerdy, note... I'm picking up my beloved PlayStation 4 on my birthday Nov. 15th, and no lie, will most likely be playing the heck out of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Which I hope is a great redemption to Assassin's Creed III... that game had so much freakin' potential. Still a huge fan of the series though, and Ezio Auditore da Firenze =D

Art life!
I'm still on a few freelance art projects, so art updates have been few and far between... but I hope to have some stuff to upload, with permission, in the next month. Otherwise here are some sketches I've done for a upcoming book, one on which I co-worked on with Diego Paz, Mark Anthony Tierno's Maldene Vol. 1. Needless to say, we're working on the next volume =P

"I'm The Art Show, Deal With It!" Documentary and WayForward's "Shantae: Half-Genie Hero"
"I'm The Art Show, Deal With It!" Documentary
So remember that awesome art show tribute for The Legend of Korra that Mark Batalla and I co-curated with PixelDrip Gallery back in March of this year? Well the "I'm The Art Show, Deal With It!" Documentary is finished and up for the world to see! Plus plenty of attendees filmed their experiences too! Special thanks to Andulka Wilkes and Evan Koehne with their great filming and editing skills, making it look awesome and professional, but Dormilón for adding great music too!
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero
If you haven't heard already, WayForward, the company that brought you DuckTales: Remastered, A Boy and His Blob, and of course the Shantae series, started up a Kickstarter to raise funds for their next 2D Animated game Shantae: Half-Genie Hero! And if you're new to the Shantae series or always loved her but never had a chance to try the games, come out to Giant Robot 2 in Los Angeles, CA for a sweet Game Night 16! Play and celebrate the Shantae series, hang out with WayForward peeps, and help fund the Kickstarter if you'd like! Free to attend but full of awesome!
Geek Pop Podcast
Just yesterday my old college buddies and friends invited me on as a guest to their great podcast: Geek Pop! They're fairly new but going 8 episodes strong already! If you have an hour and a half of time to listen, check it out! Geek Pop Episode 8! Check out their Facebook page and previous episodes, popping your weekly geek =P

DuckTales: Remastered
What's this!? A blog update within a month of the last one!? I sure like to prove myself wrong...
Well, as I've stated in previous updates I had the pleasure of working on DuckTales: Remastered with the amazing Animation team. The game was released on PSN, PC/Steam, and Wii U eShop Aug. 13th. It will then follow onto the Xbox Live for Summer Of Arcade Sep. 11th. It's been getting a range of reviews from love-it to hate-it, but I'm happy to hear almost everyone loves how it looks! WayForward put a lot of love and care into this game and from a a diverse team of DuckTales fans and avid gamers. I also updated my Published Works page as well.
I finished some new art for an upcoming art show at La Luz de Jesus Gallery called "Beer is Art" Sep. 6th. The series is numbered 1-4 and called "Hint of Red"
In other news, PixelDrip Gallery has a lineup of upcoming shows and 2 of which I'm co-curating. Just for you're pleasure, look out for the PBS Tribute Show "In the Garden of your Mind" with The Hive Gallery Sep. 7th and within the same month the Hive Wall we rent at the back of the gallery is Wrestling Themed and curated my Mark Batalla. As the months follow, I'll update on the new shows, but definitely check out the PixelDrip site on all that!
That's it for now, thanks for reading again!
